In it mandatory to complete the Food Handler medical examination for those who wish to work offshore within the catering discipline. There is a minimum standard of fitness that is required to be reached by anyone working in the offshore catering industry, this will be assessed by an OEUK registered Doctor. Food Handler medical certificates are valid for 2 years.

You should allow approximately 20 minutes for this medical, however may take longer if in conjunction with your offshore medical.

  • Detail of any prescribed medications
  • Photographic ID e.g Driver Licence or Passport
